Born in 1944, art has always been a major part of Pamela Renfroe's life. She studied art at the University of Georgia in the early sixties and started painting professionally in 1978. It was at that time Pamela was commissioned by Carolina Country Magazine to create a painting for their cover. It was requested that the subject be a country store with a Coca-Cola sign on the side of the building. Not wanting to infringe on The Coca-Cola Company's copyrights she sought approval from the company. This led to a much-treasured relationship with The Coca-Cola Company that continues today. In addition to being licensed by The Coca-Cola Company, Pamela is also licensed by John Deere, International Dairy Queen and Wurlitzer Jukebox and several years ago by Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Her work has resulted in numerous awards, newspaper and magazine covers and articles, speeches, special artist signings, television appearances along with her art being featured on many licensed products. Pam and her husband Bob, along with their cat Claude Monet, live in Hartwell, Georgia, a beautiful small town in Northeast Georgia.

"Throughout the years God has taught me that being 'famous' no longer holds the importance that it once held during my younger years. Having developed Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1976 and breast cancer in 1995, it is especially important to me now to evoke a sense of faith, love, peace and joy to viewers of my paintings. I want each person, regardless of his or her trials, to know that there is always hope. And as the years fade away, I want my precious little granddaughter, Olivia Edee, to gaze upon my paintings with those beautiful baby blues and think to herself, 'I love my Mimi so much. Just look at how she loves others.' If I accomplish these goals my life will have been fulfilled."
